The idea of the championship was inspired by competing in other different sim championships.

Founder, Alessandro Ceronetti says: "I always find that there is a little something missing in sim championships, and with OKC I will try to fill that gap and make it as good as possible."

The championship is ran on the Kart Racing Pro software, with different seasons having different categories to race in.
