Season 7, Round 5 - Casteletto (ITA)
It was time for the final round of a hectic Season 7 in OKC. The championship came to the very end between Aaron Heathman and Alessandro Ceronetti, whom kept on dicing for the championship lead. The rookie championship was as close as ever too, featuring Rowan Gill and Corrie Hiatt who were also fighting for the 3rd place merits.

Ceronetti took pole position in Qualifying, with championship rival Heathman taking second about 1 tenth of a second behind him. Daniel Fellows was third and Daniel Muallem took an impressive 4th, with Alexis Genolet and Rowan Gill rounding out the top 6.

Daniel Fellows took an impressive heat victory, with Rowan Gill managing to climb back up the order to 2nd spot. Following a 2 place penalty, Heathman finished 3rd with Ceronetti dropping back to 4th place. Fellows followed up another heat victory in the second heat, with Heathman and Gill following behind in that finishing order. This would mean that Daniel was on for a pole position start in the pre-final.

After a long and tough battle between the two rivals, Ceronetti had the better over Heathman who finished 1st and 2nd. Gill settled for third, which also meant he won the rookie championship with the final still yet to go, as rival Hiatt could not make the race. Fellows dropped back to 4th.

For the final time in Season 7, Ceronetti kept the lead on Lap 1, where he would shortly lose it to Heathman a few laps later. Fellows also made a comeback having gone up to 2nd, dropping Ceronetti back into the clutches of Rowan Gill. Fellows soon made a move for the lead, and took Heathman into a half spin, dropping him back 2 spots behind Gill. In the meantime, Ceronetti challenged Fellows for the lead once again, but a little over agressivness from the two FPR drivers, meant that they would drop wheels on the grass and fall abck behind both Heathman and Gill. Heathman managed to take a comfortable gpa in his pocket and leave the likes of Ceronetti, Fellows and Gill behind him, battling for 2nd. Eventually, Ceronetti got the best of them both and started to chase down Aaron Heathman who had pulled a far 3 second gap. Mid way through the race Heathman made a mistake which dropped him back to P3. Luckily for him, a battenberg came out following a big pile up. Heathman managed to take the lead again, defending valliantly against Ceronetti and Fellows, who meant serious business. In the closing stages, Ceronetti got caught in a spin and dropped back to P4, counting him out the chances of winning the races, however Fellows managed to close back up to Heathman. He eventually took the lead away from him and took the in of the race! Fellows achieved his first ever win in OKC, with Gill finishing an impressive second and Heathman 3rd, which meant he had done everything he needed to do in order to win the championship!

Once again, it is Heathman who took the championship for the 3rd Season in a row, thus making him the most successful driver in OKC history. Ceronetti finished 2nd and Gill managed to take third spot away from Hiatt who finished 4th! Fellows last round result meant that he would finish 5th after a tough challenge throughout the whole season!

All eyes on Season 8 now, who look to have many challengers for!
